The second season of Wind Breaker was a huge success – so it’s no surprise that fans are now eagerly waiting for Season 3.
The Furin High School is notorious for bad grades and intense fights. The newly transferred freshman Haruka initially just wants to fight his way to the top but soon realizes that the students now have a different mission: protecting their neighborhood from rival gangs. This marks the beginning of the story of the hot-headed yet heroic Sakura. After the finale of Season 2, one thing is clear – the anime is far from over. But when will it finally continue?
Wind Breaker Season 3: No Confirmation Yet
The second season was highly anticipated – and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The season finale, which aired in June 2025 (on Crunchyroll in this region), left many questions unanswered and made it clear that Haruka Sakura and his friends still have a long road ahead of them.
Fans of the Satoru Nii manga already know that there’s plenty of material left for more seasons. The manga has been running in Japan since 2021 and currently includes over 20 volumes, most of which are also available in English. However, there’s still no official confirmation for a third season. That said, the chances look pretty good – the anime has been performing extremely well both in Japan and internationally.
When Could Wind Breaker Season 3 Be Released?
There’s no official release date yet, but it’s likely that Season 3 won’t take too long to arrive. The success of the second season clearly shows that interest in the series remains strong.
