One day, Leon experiences an unbelievable surprise: instead of his usual everyday life, he wakes up right in the middle of a dating sim. But not just any sim – in this world, beautiful women are in charge, while only the most attractive men are even allowed to be heard. Sounds like a tough world for someone like Leon. But he’s not defenseless, because he knows the game, including story and mechanics, down to the smallest detail. In his previous life, after all, he had studied the complete walkthrough.
With this knowledge in mind, Leon wants to shake up the game world – though his real goal is actually quite modest: a quiet life in the countryside. But before he gets there, he first has to endure plenty of chaos, intrigue, and adventure. One thing is clear: the story will continue in a second season. But when will we finally be able to see it?
When will season 2 of Trapped in a Dating Sim start?
The first season already aired in Japan in April 2022, and fans here were able to stream it from June of the same year on Crunchyroll. Then in December came the good news: season 2 is coming! Unfortunately, that’s where the announcement ended – no concrete info about production, release date, or new content has been revealed to this day.
That makes it difficult to predict a release window. Normally, after such an announcement, new details are revealed more quickly, which is why some fans already fear the continuation might never actually come out. But officially, it hasn’t been canceled.
