It’s already confirmed: the anime series Tales of Wedding Rings will get a second season. But the big question is – when will the new episodes finally start?
The story is based on the manga of the same name by the artist duo Maybe and combines romance with fantasy elements. At the center is high school student Haruto Satou, who finally gathers the courage, after ten long years, to confess his love to his childhood friend Hime Nonaka. But Hime surprises him with shocking news: she must soon return to her true homeland. Shortly afterward, Haruto learns the unbelievable truth – Hime comes from a parallel world! In reality, she is Princess Crystal Novaty Nokanatica, who is supposed to marry a prince to save her kingdom from destruction.
However, Haruto doesn’t give up and follows her into this strange world – even up to her impending wedding. When a dangerous monster suddenly appears and threatens everything, Hime kisses him in pure desperation. This kiss grants Haruto the powers of the Ring King. With this power, he is destined to defeat the Dark King of Abyssus, whose return is drawing near. But to become strong enough, he must also gain the powers of four other princesses – and that is only possible through marriage. This marks the beginning of a turbulent adventure full of love, danger, and destiny.
Tales of Wedding Rings: When will Season 2 start?
For everyone eagerly awaiting the continuation, there’s mixed news. The good: back in March 2024, it was officially announced on social media that a second season is on the way. The bad: no exact release date has been revealed so far. So fans will have to stay patient a little longer and wait for new updates.
In the meantime, it’s worth taking a look at the manga. The source material is already far ahead of the anime’s storyline. The first season covers the events up to around Chapter 32.
