The anime series Oshi no Ko revolves around a doctor who is reborn as the son of his favorite idol. When is Season 2 coming?
How about being reborn as the child of an idol? This question has been on Goro’s mind, a doctor and hardcore fan of the idol Ai Hoshino, since it was posed to him by a patient just before her death. He works in a remote hospital in Japan, and thus, he would never expect what happens next: His favorite idol suddenly appears pregnant with twins. She wants to secretly give birth to her children and then continue her life as an idol.
Months pass, and the time comes to give birth to the children when Goro suddenly encounters a stalker of Ai. He is pursued but brutally beaten and dies. To his surprise, he doesn’t end up in heaven or hell but is reborn as one of Ai’s twins. Oshi no Ko was the “hype anime” of the year. When will Season 2 be released?

Oshi no Ko: What about Season 2?
Following the example of the manga series of the same name, the anime Oshi no Ko premiered in April 2023. The series was a complete success and enthralled millions of fans worldwide. It’s no wonder that shortly after the provisional finale, a sequel was announced. Season 2 is official.
But when will it continue? That is not yet determined. Although the creators have confirmed that Season 2 is coming, they haven’t revealed a start date. Fans will have to be patient. Since the series was exceptionally successful, it’s expected that the waiting time won’t be too long.
Unlike, for example, Hunter x Hunter, the anime adaptation doesn’t have to wait for the manga. The source material provides more than enough material for another season with its 129 chapters.
