If you want to dive into the world of Fullmetal Alchemist, you have two main options: the first anime series Fullmetal Alchemist from 2003 or the remake Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood from 2009. The Live-Action Adaptations
It’s become common for popular anime series to get live-action adaptations. In 2017, Netflix released such an adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist. Despite mixed reviews, the streaming service went on to produce two sequels: Fullmetal Alchemist – The Revenge of Scar and Fullmetal Alchemist – The Final Alchemy, both released in 2022. These films are available on Netflix and closely follow the original manga by Hiromu Arakawa.
