Freezer is one of the most well-known villains in the Dragon Ball universe. However, only a few fans are aware that the tyrannical alien has a son – an intriguing detail revealed in an older manga by Akira Toriyama.
Most Dragon Ball fans recognize Freezer as a ruthless foe of Son Goku and his friends. He repeatedly returns to cause chaos with his sinister schemes. But what many don’t know is that Freezer’s son, Kuriza, makes an appearance in the comedic spin-off series Neko Majin, which Toriyama published between 1999 and 2005.

Kuriza: His Father’s Humorous Successor
Neko Majin is a parody of Dragon Ball, featuring a cat-like version of Son Goku called Neko Majin Z. Alongside familiar characters from the Dragon Ball universe, Kuriza – the son of Freezer – also makes an appearance.
At first glance, his resemblance to Freezer is undeniable. Although smaller in stature, his hazelnut-shaped head and signature appearance leave no doubt about his lineage. In terms of temperament, he is just as hot-headed and impulsive as his father.
In Neko Majin, Kuriza travels to Earth with a subordinate, intent on stirring up trouble. However, before he can take action, the chapter abruptly ends – leaving him visibly frustrated. Interestingly, he has also made his way into the collectible card game Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission, where he has his own card.
Although Kuriza is not part of the official Dragon Ball storyline, he remains a fascinating detail for die-hard fans of the series.
