One of the chosen individuals is Natsu Iwashimizu. She wakes up in the middle of the ocean alongside three strangers, with no memory of how she got there. But instead of finding answers on land, she and her group are faced with countless dangers, mysteries, and the constant struggle for survival. Fans are eager to see how the story continues in a possible season 3 – but is there any chance of that happening?

The anime is based on the successful manga by Yumi Tamura, which was first published in 2001. The first season premiered on Netflix in 2019, followed by the second in 2020. However, despite the fact that the existing 24 episodes only cover part of the story, a third season remains unlikely.
Netflix has yet to announce a continuation – even though it’s been over four years since the release of season two. This significantly reduces the chances of another season happening. Additionally, online petitions from fans have gone unanswered by the streaming giant.
Unfortunately, it seems that 7 Seeds will not be getting any new episodes. The manga, which spans 35 volumes, was completed in 2017. On top of that, the individual volumes are not officially available in English. Fans who wish to follow the story further may have to look for alternative ways to experience the conclusion.
